Mechanics:
  • Consumers purchased a Samsung TV.
  • The customer was given an entry form where they has to provide a half-time and full-time score for the final of the Rugby World Cup.
  • Over 500 entries were allowed.
  • The customer retained a duplicate of the entry form to use as a reference whilst the final was played.
OddsOn's Role:
  • OddsOn Promotions provided actuary information to underwriters that explained the game of Rugby Union and assisted with the risk assessment.
  • The $1,000,000 was covered by our Underwriters Prize Coverage, so if the contestant selected the correct scores, our underwriters had taken on the risk and therefore ready to pay out the prize.
