Objectives:
  • To Increase sales of Coke products at Broncos home games.
  • To leverage the sponsorship of the Broncos.
Mechanics:
  • Consumers purchase any Coke product at a Broncos home game.
  • During the first half of the game - a roving TV camera "spotted" spectators drinking Coke - Caught Red Handed.
  • At half-time the three contestants made their way to the field.
  • A jugs machine was used to launch rugby balls onto the pitch.
  • Contestants had to catch three balls at various distances to win the $5000.
  • Coke used the promotion for an entire season.

  • OddsOn Promotion devised the entire concept.
  • OddsOn Promotions provided Jugs machine used to launch rugby balls.
  • The $5000 was covered by our Underwriters Prize Coverage, so if the contestant caught the $5000 ball, our underwriters had taken on the risk and therefore ready to pay out the prize.
